MoneyDance+ Missing transactions

I've used MoneyDance+ for a couple of weeks now and find it to be very difficult to use. The transactions won't all download. The download appears to miss transactions that fall w/in the time range (last sync date). I was hoping I could switch to it but find that it requires a significant amount of manual validation from me given the missed transactions.
I then attempted to revert back to how I used to download transactions (through my bank using their Quicken file download) and now that download option is no longer available on my bank side. I've reached out to the bank but am wondering if the switch to moneydance+ somehow impacted my ability to download transactions using a file format other than excel or csv. The timing might be coincidental, but now I'm left with MoneyDance+ which takes longer to reconcile than manually downloading AND I can no longer manually download anything other than a csv file. I am frustrated and am trying to either figure out why Moneydance+ fails to download all transactions or figure out why I can no longer download the quicken file format from my bank. Any assistance is appreciated.

    What I did notice is that MoneyDance+ seems to be missing those transactions that are the same amount from those that I transfer biweekly to my savings accounts. Could it be that the software is NOT downloading what it thinks are duplicate transactions based on amount instead of date? I do not have 'auto merge transactions' selected. The biweekly savings amounts are not downloading at all. Any help is appreciated. I don't know if I can change a setting so the software ignores it's coding to download only those transactions 'after duplicates were removed'.

    Any chance you found a solution? I had problems with it missing credit card transactions and gave up because reconciling would take forever. Also, it would take several days for it to download transactions after they posted to the account.

    I had what seems to be the same problem as the OP. I found that MoneyDance was set up to consider a transaction to be a duplicate, i.e. previously downloaded, if it was the same as another transaction downloaded in the past 90 days. This is far too long. I changed the time period to 2 days; MoneyDance+ is now downloading properly. You will find the setting in MoneyDance Settings, in the Network tab.
    I hope this helps.
    I am using MoneyDance 2022.5 4091 and macOS 13.1.
