Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Can you navigate to the 'Network' preferences and check if the option Use Bank Dates for Merged Transactions is selected?

When this box is checked and the date on a manually entered transaction is different from the date of the transaction it is being merged with, the bank’s date replaces the manually entered date. For example when a check is written on December 4 and cashed on December 8,
When this box is not checked the manually entered date will remain.

Also, when viewing the account register, you could simply click in the 'Date' column header. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. Alternatively, you should 'right click' (or press Ctrl and click) on any transaction to view the context menu then choose Choose Sort By > Date Entered.
Finally, you can refer to this article of the Knowledge Base.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

I figured it out, there was a box checked in a menu I found that put
additional entries of the same day on top each other rather than below. I
unchecked that and everything just fell into place. Thanks for the responce

Len Sedlaktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/561621622022-10-21T10:02:39Z2022-10-21T10:02:39Zsequence changing

You are welcome!
