Just as the subject says. Everytime I download transactions with Moneydance+ from Chase, I get old, previously confirmed transactions. I download about twice a month. The latest donwload shows transactions all the way back to 4/11/2022. How can I fix this?

just a user - what do you do after you get these duplicates? delete the new downloads?

I'm assuming that you were using OFX for chase until Chase discontinued OFX. When you moved to Moneydance+, the FITID for these transactions changed (FITID values are hidden values saying "check against other FITIDs to see if I'm a duplicate".)

These new FITIDs will not match the old FITIDs, and if you keep deleting the NEW duplicates, then they will come again and again. You will need to either merge the new duplicate with the old (you may have to unconfirm them, or also lengthen the merge check date), or delete the old and keep the new (which may involve copying over the memo to the new, or something similar, and then reconfirming.

This is an unfortunate reality of the move from OFX to MD+ (due to Chase!), but if you get it right, they will stop downloading, as the one you kept will have the same FITID as the new, and they will not be downloaded, as Moneydance now recognizes they are duplicates.

Another thing you can do is to check your "last download date", and if it isn't advancing beyond 4/11/2022, you might want to work on that - eventually even non matching FITIDs are abandoned over time.

If that isn't what you are doing, please repost as to the circumstances where this is happening beyond what you've just posted.

I may have been mistaken. I thought I had download this particular account before, but it appears to be working fine, now. I just switched over to Moneydance+ last month, and possible did not use this account yet. My other Chase accounts seem to be working as desired.

    Thanks for the help, anyways!
