I've reverted everything back but it's still happening. Best I can tell, the transaction split sub-screen does not spawn but the main screen thinks it did so the main screen sits in a suspended state indefinitely. The only option is to kill the app using task manager and restart it. I tried hitting other keys once the problem manifests and the only one that responds is the tab key, which brings up the category selection sub-menu (screen shot attached). I can scroll through the submenu but selecting a category does nothing and makes the submenu disappear. Same thing when I hit escape. If I then hit the tab key another 4 times, it brings it back (as if it's toggling across fields in a sub-menu. I was on a 2021 revision and updated to the latest version but the problem persists. The function was working normally as at 5pm, yesterday, as I used it when reconciling a credit card statement.</p></div>Andretag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/572768922022-12-23T21:36:52Z2022-12-23T21:36:52ZTransaction split freezing app <div><p>Install / Run toolbox extension. It will spot the problem and allow you to fix this.</p></div>Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/572768922022-12-23T21:39:27Z2022-12-23T21:39:31ZTransaction split freezing app <div><p>I found the problem. When I shut down the app yesterday, I was in extended screen mode working wit the app on my secondary monitor. I turned off and unplugged the second screen without starting the app and when I started it, the main screen spawned the sub-menu on the remains of the extended screen that was no longer present. Strange that the main screen started on the primary but didn't pass that data to the sub-screen when spawned. Also strange that the OS (windows 10) didn't clean up the issue, as I validated that single screen mode was enabled during my troubleshooting. Nonetheless, I plugged the second monitor back in, reconfigured to extended screen mode and there was the sub-menu waiting for input. Cleaned it up by moving the sub-screen to primary screen and setting OS to duplicate screens before unplugging the second monitor. It is now operating as expected.</p></div>Andre
