Moneydance+
Started using Moneydance+ in Oct '22.
Several times transactions failed to download from financial institutions, or possibly were rejected by Moneydance as duplicates.
Today for example, 4 items were downloaded and rejected as duplicates. I can't tell what the transactions are.
It's also possible that the previous day's transactions are not downloaded even though the previous day's ledger balance is.
Kind of a pain that I have to investigate reconciliation failures on a regular basis.
Is this happening to others?
Paul

There is a delay in the transaction information being available from the financial institution, being collected by plaid and the finally getting to you. The institution may update the ledger balance without the transactions. All those details are hidden behind Plaid which is unfortunate but the only way to go with some institutions.
As far as I know and have experienced, MD has not ever rejected as duplicate something that was a new transaction.
If you open Help => Console Log wait for the initial startup stuff to finish.
Clear the log
go to the main MD page and download your problematic account. it should show some details of all the transactions downloaded and you can check if they are duplicates or not.

Thank you. Definitely a Plaid issue. Bank's website transactions and ledger
balance agree, but Plaid does not get the previous day's transactions.
Direct Connect always did.
Good info about Console Log, thanks.
