Update Issue

I just got a message that there was an Update to Moneydance, and that it was free to me! All I had to do was download the latest windows version from the Moneydance website and execute the file. However, when I came to do that, the download window said the file would be an exe file. When the download arrived in my download folder the file had an extension of crdownload, with no guidance as to what the next step should be, since the file was not in exe form!

How should I get the update installed? Right now I am in limbo!

Is this a problem that is unique to me or is it some sort of bug?

Regards

You are entitled to a free upgrade to Moneydance 2022.6 if you purchased either Moneydance 2021 or 2022.

You can download the latest version from:

    https://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software

The file extension you quote is unknown to me and you do not state where exactly you downloaded the kit from or where the message came from.

Just a user here, but although I see you have now successfully downloaded the update, I just thought I'd mention, in case anyone else has this issue, that the crdownload extension you mention shows during a file download.

It should change to an exe extension once the download completes.

If it doesn't change, it suggests there was an issue and I would delete the file and try to start the download again
