I opened a discussion earlier, but I can't open it and I haven't had a resolution to my problem.
I have Moneydance version 2-21(2006) on my Mac.
I seem to have lost all my files when attempting to do a year-end report on expenses. I had reports from previous years, but they all disappeared along with my checking and savings accounts and credit card accounts. Help, please.

I did the same thing yesterday. In the MoneyDance window, go to Help, and download your most recent backup file. That should restore everything. I think I accidentally set up a new file, which then showed nothing in it!!

Thank you so much for reaching out to me. Sounds like what I did, but I can’t seem to get it fixed with recent backup files. Had to take a break. I will try again…hope I can restore all the years of data.

If you accidentally set up a new data file then the Moneydance Menu command File --> Open should allow you to open the previous file.
