I get an error message when saving a report to PDF. It worked for several years, then wouldn’t save. I really need a PDF.
I have seen that this issue has been noted here. Are there any solutions?

You do not state the error message, the operating system and version you are using or the version and build of Moneydance nor the process you are using to trying to create a PDF file.

Without some basic information we are really cannot provide much in the way of suggestions or solutions.

The error message is not really helping it looks incomplete.

I suspect you may be using a Mac which is a system I am not familiar with, however assuming Moneydance is somewhat consistent it does not have its own PDF generator inbuilt it uses the capability of the OS to provide PDF output, hence I think you may need to have someone familiar with macOS to help you.

Thank you for responding again. If it helps at all, I have been using this Moneydance program on this computer for several years without any problems.  For some reason, this problem not using the save to pdf just happened. There has been no change to either the program or the computer.
Do you have an idea where I might get some help?
Thank you again for your time!

Most likely another user that has a Mac or perhaps the support staff may chime in.

That's a really strange error message. So it just says "Error" followed by the file path?

Can you try saving the PDF to another location to see if that makes a difference, like your desktop?

And just to be clear, I assume you are using the print function for a report and using Mac's 'print to PDF' function? Let me know if you're using a different method for trying to make a PDF.

    Thank you for responding, Ethan.
Yes that is the entire error message. Yes, I am using the Mac print to PDF. I open the report in Moneydance, choose Print, then at the bottom, choose save to PDF. I have never had a problem before.

I also have tried to save the PDF to desktop and other locations and get the same error message. I am able to actually print the report.

I hope this gives you some insight!  Thank you so much for your help.
