Just got around to trying this. The important things is to set "Recent Entries" to Do Not Include. Steps:
Account pull down
Edit Account
From the popup, Check Numbers - set to "Account-specific settings"
Then "Edit ..."
Set :Recent Entries to "Don't Include"
In the box, hit the "+" sign and type in an entry
Hit TAB and then OK
Now, when you click the down arrow in the registry window, then hit Edit List, your account specific check # list will be the default and you can add or delete items from the list without having to go through the Account pull-down. .

Art O'Connortag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/580915722023-03-29T17:14:34Z2023-03-29T17:14:44ZDelete unneeded items

Oops! Forgot to say you need to be in the Checking registry window before going to the Account pull down. What is shown in the Account pull-down is dependent on what you have selected in the left pane.

Art O'Connor
