Poor selection of currencies for importing
Why are the currencies when importing from QIF so eurocentric? I have a quicken file that has multiple currencies, almost none of which are available for selection. E.g., IDR, SGD, AED etc. The import should allow the FULL range of currencies,

I'm a fellow customer.
The software does allow the full range of currencies when importing, but it is not intuitive.
As background, when by default when there was a extensive list there were scrolling problems so the developer made the decision to limit the currencies available. We can add to the currencies available however.
I made some notes on this some time ago, I've included these notes below:
During the import process Moneydance has the ability to create accounts, however there is a notable restriction in this when you have multiple currencies. By default the initial currency offered is your base currency, and, by the default, the following 6 currencies are shown in the list:
• British Pound
• Canadian Dollar
• Chinese ‘Yuan’ Renminbi
• Euro
• Japanese Yen
• US Dollar
To have other currencies available in the list you must take action before you start the import. The action you need to take is to ensure the currency is set to “Display on the Summary page”. To do this take the menu option: Tools → Currencies, Select a currency and double click on it, on the dialogue that appears select the Edit button next to the currency name and on the pop up that appears check on Show on Summary Page.

Hi together - I'm a fellow custumer and newbie as well. :)
Just wanted to know whether this topic has been solved as it was not included in the latest update.
It would be really helpfull if the currencies could be adapted or choosen before importing, creating a new database or import a new account as qif-file. If the currencies could either be changed by ourself or give an opportunity to add or change the needed currencies would be great, thanks.

On the Welcome screen take the option to create a new empty account set, then follow the instructions I have given above to add the currencies you want, then perform the import into this new empty account.

Hi dwg - thanks for your fast reply.
Yes, this works perfectly, but only if you really enter first all the different currencies in the empty account. But actual I already imported all of the different accounts in the different currencies.
