Check printing preferences

Just uploaded MoneyDance and under Preferences the Check Type field only offers question marks. I need to choose stubbed check and that option is not available. Is there a way for me to import my old settings for checks, or do you need to fix this problem with the program?

   Same question as tross45. See nothing by question marks in check setup. Plus number of checks in preview does not display properly. Computer is iMac Pro running latest version of Ventura. Just updated to new version of Moneydance pushed yesterday. Thanks in advance for any info.

   OK, I dug into this. It's a display bug. (Don't worry, your settings are still there). I have reported the cause/fix to developer...

   Hi ,
   We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

   Unfortunately this is a known bug in Moneydance 2023. There's an existing ticket in our ticketing system regarding this issue, so I've attached it to this discussion and the developers are currently looking into it.

   Thank you, I hope it resolves soon. My only regret is not knowing of the issue before I upgraded. Are there other known issues?

   Unfortunately, yes!
   Syncing using the Dropbox Connection method isn't working.
   However if you are using Dropbox Folder or Shared Folder as your preferred sync method this shouldn't affect you.

   Please stay reassured that the development team are currently working to fix this issue as well.
   Finally, any fixes and improvements to Moneydance 2023 will be posted here and also on our blog.

   It's quite safe to go back to Moneydance 2022, there have been absolutely no data changes between releases.

   I assume if I overwrote it when I installed 2023 I can just redownload it. I hope I can find the original registration number.

    A new preview release as been posted, the change logs states:

    Moneydance 2023.1 build 5006 (Sat, 01 Apr 2023 02:00:00 +0000)
    * Fixes Dropbox Connection syncing bug in Moneydance 2023 (Dropbox Folder and other methods were fine)

    * Fixes bug with Check Printing names appearing as question marks

    You may want to install the latest preview version Moneydance 2023.2 build 5007, that also includes a fix for a bug that prevented saving changes to check printing settings.
