New update problem check printing

I installed the latest version of moneydance last night. When i had to print a voucher check the place to choose voucher checks was filled with 3 "???" There was no ability to choose voucher checks I was only left with the regular check option which prints three checks per page. I was forced to print one check using this option. The check printed ok a little off line but of course thr voucher part of the check was unfilled. I reinstalled the new version and still the question marks appear in the choose check type section of the check printing setup. Not sure if this is a bug in the new version. ( I chose each of the three options that had question marks but it did not change the check format.)
Any help appreciated.

Yes, this is a bug in the new version -- one they knew about before they released the new version, apparently, and didn't warn us about.

If you go back to the previous version, you might be able to print checks like you usually did without problem. (That worked for me, anyway.)

Thanks JRM I figured it was the version but to release with such a bug that was known is not very confidence building. Its a shame.  Hope they fix it soon.

FWIW Those testing the software only found out about the bug after release.

I concur. This bug was unknown and was introduced by the deep technical changes made in the md2023 release. I only investigated this issue and found the cause after I saw these posts.

According to Maddy ("support staff"), this is a known bug. I just found out about the update yesterday and downloaded it (and paid for it) promptly, only to discover the printing-problem later in the day. Given the short time between announcing the update and the appearance of the problem, I interpreted "known problem" to mean they were aware before they announced the update. For whatever that's worth.
