Upgrade Failure
I just tried to upgrade today and it failed. Now I cannot open MoneyDance, and get a message saying there is no JVM on my sustem, and I should download something from JAVA. This is WAY beyond my technical knowledge and is a failure of the update process.
How do I fix it/get IK staff to rectify?

No one else has reported any problems like this and neither have any of the testers, so it would seem to be something local on your system.
You do not say what Operating system you are using, but I would suggest uninstalling Moneydance and then reinstalling.
