Using the Hide application function
I use the 'Hide' function quite a bit and Moneydance won't 'hide'.
Select the option under the Moneydance menu and it will go away and immediately come right back.
Sometimes, it is possible to 'Hide Others' while Moneydance is in the background and it will disappear.
But this seems random and it will pop back visible when you least expect it.
Thanks,
Kirby

This sounds more like an Operating system function rather than a Moneydance option.

All other applications hide no problem.
Only Moneydance exhibits the problem.
It’s been like this since Ventura came out.

Moneydance itself has options to hide certain elements, not the whole program.
Your on a Mac and I believe when you have the Moneydance menu active i.e. the application is in focus macOS has some OS specific functionality available through the menu.
Moneydance sits a level away from the OS because between MD and the OS sits the Java Virtual machine. I suspect this is an issue between macOS and Java.
