In the itemised income-expense report, the enrties are not in sequence with the date but go all over the place.
How do I get them in chronological oprder?

I have just run such a report in the current version of Moneydance.

It is sorting as expected, it sorts by Category first and the date sort order is within each category.

I recently upgraded to version 2023.1 (5006) and now when I try to make an income-expense report for a customized date, something weird is happening. It looks okay, but when I select a specific category (i.e. 'Home Repair'), even though my report was from 4/1/2022 - 4/18/2023, I'm seeing items from 2019 - 2022? It's not making sense and this didn't use to happen. Please help!

    Never mind,

I ran it through income/expense details and found what I was looking for.

Thanks for reading that if you did.
