Problems with MD 2023.1 and Linux
Just yesterday I upgrade from 2022.6 (build 4097) to 2023.1 (build 5006), and almost immediately began having problems with keyboard entry after a few minutes. I would launch the new MD, create entries, and type, but typing functioned only for about the first 2-3 minutes of working (mouse entry still worked). Other apps on desktop responded fine to keyboard. Today I uninstalled MD 2023.1, reinstalled 2022.6, and everything works fine now. I'm running KDE Plasma 5.20.5 on Debian 11 (kernel 5.10.0-21-amd64). I don't mind using MD 2022.6 for the time being, but I just wanted to alert you so that future 2023 builds can (hopefully) address this issue.

P.S. Meant to add that quitting 2023.1 and relaunching would again enable keyboard entry, but only for a couple of minutes of working before the keyboard became non-responsive. This does not happen at all in the (reinstalled) MD 2022.6.

I'm a fellow customer
FWIW I've been testing extensions on Linux Mint with Moneydance 2023.2 (5007) and am not seeing the problem you are experiencing.

When this reoccurs, go to help/console and upload that output here.
