Does MD have any add'l ~ logic built in to handle investment transactions downloaded via Plaid, or does it just 100 record whatever it gets, period?

I ask because I have a Management Fee expense that downloaded (via Plaid) from Schwab that shows up as a positive # in the register. When I look at the ol.orig-txn data for the transaction I clearly see:
  "extra.invest_txn_type" = "fee"
 "extra.invest_txn_subtype" = "management fee"
  "invest_txn_type" = "exp"

Couldn't/shouldn't any one of these fields be used such that the $ amount in the register should be set as a negative automatically?

Of course I can manually adjust it, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the automatic download.
