display of letter "m" in search box, macOS
I'm running MoneyDance 2023.1 (5006) on macOS 12.6.5 Monteray
When I type the letter "m" in the search box, it is missing a vertical part. When I then clear the text the missing part hangs out. This seems to only happen with "m". See attached images.
The searching does work as expected, just the display is wonky.
Anyone else seeing this type of thing?

just a user - I have seen this issue in the past, along with the "only one letter stays in the search box". Shutting down and restarting fixes the second one. Does doing the same fix these (even temporarily)?

Hi Johann ,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
What happens if you change the Appearance /Theme in Moneydance/Preferences. Does this occur in other themes too?
Changing the theme to flat dark should hopefully resolve the problem for you.

I have not done extensive testing, but "Flat Dark" does not seem to have the issue. With a quick test, none of the named Themes seem to have the issue. Going back to "Default" makes the issue return.
The first "m" typed does not generally have the cutout. Sometimes a few "m"s are OK, but later ones get weirdified. Clicking elsewhere in the search box after the "m"s are werdified seems to make everything "normal". Using the "delete" key to erase the weirdified "m"s give me the left-over bits, until clicking in the box makes it all ok.
Just now the "S" in "Search..." is missing
Restarting MB does not seem to have an effect.

It's a problem with the Mac default Theme (VAQua) and the QuickSearch (JTextField).. The developer knows about it....
