Transferring from Checking to a Credit Card account to record payment
I have successfully recorded payments made to my various credit cards by using the Transfer to ....name of CC. However, this does not work for one of my credit cards: Home Depot. I have done it over and over but the transfer of payment from my checking to the credit card NEVER SHOWS UP ON THE CREDIT CARD RECORD in MoneyDance. I can enter charges into the Home Depot account but payments to Home Depot on the account from my checking will not transfer. What kind of quirk is this?

Solved the problem. Two words - is a no no in the name of a credit card. Took out the space, spelled it HomeDepot as one word, and it recorded the payment correctly.
In future - make all credit card names one word.

I'm fellow user.
One word, two words, more words should not make any difference.
One thing that does cause problems comes to mind and that is if you give a category exactly the same name as an account.
Changing a name suggests you may have had duplicate names.
