Hello, I installed MD 2023 on my Chromebook but it seems that it only works with Intel processors. Is there an ARM version of Moneydance for Linux that I can install on Chromebook?

There appears to be an Linux ARM version in the Moneydance repository:

    Stable release:

    https://infinitekind.com/stabledl/2023.1_5006/

    Preview Release:

    https://infinitekind.com/previewdl/current/

Thanks for the link but I am still not getting it to work. I get this error:

No suitable Java Virtual Machine could be found on your system.
The version of the JVM must be at least 17.
Please define INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME to point to a suitable JVM.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I used the linux deb ARM version of MD 2023.

Moneydance ships with an embedded version of Java, so I do not understand why it would be looking for a system level Java.

I'm not aware of anyone trying this kit on an arm based Linux system which I think would be the first test.

I have now tried several solutions and nothing has worked on Chromebook with ARM processor. I installed Java 17 and also tried to point Moneydance to use this. It looks like the ARM version of MD 2023 ships with java compiled for Intel processors and thus it will not work. The best solution seems to be that we need an update from the creator of MD with java compiled for ARM.
