Customize Theme - OK button disabled
Hi all,
I'm having trouble trying to customize theme colors in Moneydance 2019.3 on Win11 Pro. I'm trying to change the orange accent color.
Under File, Preferences, Themes, I choose customize next to my selected theme (Solarized dark). Then I scroll down to registerSelectedBG color and choose another color in the color chooser. Then I click OK.
Now back on the "Customize Theme" window that "OK" button is greyed out and I cannot figure out how to enable it so I can save my changes. The only options I can see are to use the X to close the window or hit Cancel.
I really like the built-in theme, I just need a couple tweaks to save my eyes. How can I adjust the colors please?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

I'm a fellow user.
Set the base theme you want to use then exit and restart Moneydance, you should then be able to customise it.
Setting the theme does not change everything related to theme in the software, changes like this are not totally dynamic hence the restart.

Hi dwg, thank you for the response. I've been running with this theme for years and I've certainly restarted Moneydance since selecting it. Good thought though, please let me know if you have any other ideas.

I cannot reproduce the problem on Moneydance 2023 but I can on 2019.3 with that specific theme but themes like High Contrast I have been able to customize.

According to our records your license key is valid for use with Moneydance 2017, Moneydance 2019 and Moneydance 2020.
So, you could try upgrading to Moneydance 2020.2 (1929) and hopefully this will help fixing the problem.
You can download it here and enter the current license key to register Moneydance, as required.
Alternatively, if you would prefer upgrading to Moneydance 2023, you can enter your current license key into the 'Upgrading?' box on this page to redeem a generous discount. After purchasing, you'll be sent a new license key via email within 24 hours.

Thanks Maddy, the upgrade to 2020 fixed the issue! Thank you also for letting me know I was eligible to upgrade, I had no idea. I am very happy with my new theme.
