A couple months ago I purchased a new Mac and transferred my files. Ever since then, my credit card account amounts enter (from downloaded file from company) showing payments as a subtraction rather than a credit and it shows credit card charges as increments. It also didn't bring across prior months of 2023, but that's another issue I can live with.

My version is old, but it worked properly prior to the transfer to the new computer.

    I'm a fellow user.

What file format are the downloaded files in?

It has been observed that some financial institutions have reinterpreted the OFX specification and as such have changed the structure of the data they are providing.
We have seen this reflected in data being incorrectly categorized between deposits and withdrawals when they are stored in Moneydance.

To deal with this some time ago an option was implemented under the menu path File → Preferences → Network to Ignore Transaction Types in Favor of Amount Sign.
Selecting this option will result in Moneydance interpreting OFX data in a different way to account for the change in structure that some financial institutions have implemented for the data.

The volume of data you can download is determined by your bank. Many will allow you to set filters or even have limits.

Your response is just a repeat of what I posted, we see this a lot with iPhone usage.

I would suggest posting using a web browser.
