I have been able to download from my Chase accounts and the accounts show that they are set up for online banking, but bill pay does not work. [There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below. Bank Name: Chase]

In browsing previous discussions, it looks like some have solved this and others havn't. Can you give me an update?

    HELLO...Hello...hellooo.....
Is anybody out there? I am just trying to find out if Online Bill Pay works with Chase. The closest response I have found is that Chase Bill Pay "should work". This is one of the biggest banks on the planet...someone must know if it really works.

    Hello,

I apologize for the extended delay in this reply to you.

Customers have had problems using Chase bill pay in the past. Apparently, if you pick a payment date that Chase doesn't accept bill payment, you will get a cryptic error message. Submitting the same payment through their website provides a more useful error message, like "Sorry, we don't accept payments scheduled for Saturdays" or something along those lines. This is probably what's happening with the"unable to process request" errors.

The payment date too early error is because Moneydance will only allow you to submit payments on a date that is at least 7 days in advance. You can turn off this feature by going to the File menu and clicking on Preferences. In the Preferences window, click the Network tab. Towards the bottom, there will be an checkbox that says "Observe Online Payment date Restrictions." Uncheck that, and Moneydance will let you submit payments for any date.

    Sincerely,

    Brian Adler
