can't sync to mobile after restoring backup
I've restored a backup and synching to mobile (Android phone) is not working anymore. From reading older forum entries it seems this is due to the restored file now not being set as "primary". There are some instructions in these older forum posts on how to make the restored database file the new primary, and they involve using the Toolbox extension. I've installed the extension and tried to follow the instructions, but they seem to refer to an older version of the extension as some of the buttons and menus that are described are nowhere to be found in the current version of the extension.
Could someone point me to a set of updated instructions of what to do after restoring a Moneydance backup in order to get mobile syncing working again?

What version of MD and did you see a RETAIN SYNC SETTINGS box when you restored?
If an older version, then sync is disabled upon restore. As such, you need to reenable sync (file/syncing) and then connect your mobile app to the new sync copy (as it will be connected to the old, non working, sync).

Thank you for your reply.
I'm using MD 2021.1 (3069). I don't remember seeing a "retain sync
settings" when I restored.
How do I connect the app to the new sync copy though? Do I need to first
tap the disconnect button?

After you’ve reenabled sync…. Then On the app. Click disconnect. Then connect. You should then see more than one dataset. Select the most recent one.

Done, I thought I might need to disconnect but I also thought I better ask
first. Thank you for your help, that worked.
