New Transactions - Placement on screen.

When displaying account transactions in "Ascending Order" and adding a new transaction, it appears at the bottom of the screen.
Would prefer the new transaction be displayed and added in the order for the next transaction of the screen display.
In the case of ASCENDING order - add new transaction at top of screen.
In the case of Descending order - add new transaction at bottom of screen.
They would then be added in the current order displayed on the screen.

Thanks,
RM

With your Account in Moneydance set to Ascending Order, after you enter information into a new transaction, what happens to that transaction after you hit your return/enter key?

In my test case, it added the new transaction at top of screen.

    Yes -Thanks.
After finishing and entering the transaction, the transaction did pop up to be placed, at top in ascending date order.
Before, I was reluctant to do finish/enter and have a transaction out of date order.
Seems like a weird method of adding a transaction-out of sequence and pop it in to place afterwards?
    Thanks again. RM

I think it makes sense if you're in the habit of entering future transactions – I do this a lot, for short-term cash planning. And I also sometimes enter a past transaction, e.g. something I missed on a bank statement.

So when I start to key in a new transaction, it isn't necessarily the next in sequence, and MD won't know where to put it until I've finished and hit the 'enter' key.

The problem is that the position of the new transaction is not know until after you write it. e.g. you can create a new transaction and then edit the date before pressing return, should the transaction jump to the new position before you press return?
