Sync between computers with transaction reminder auto-commits present corrupts data

There appears to be a big where Moneydance corrupts data when opening and syncing from another computer after a period of time. From what I can tell, the transaction reminders with auto-commit enabled don't get sync'd, but are triggered by the transaction sync process, fouling the existing transactions that have already been auto-committed on the original computer. I had to spend an hour and a half tracking down and fixing my transactions today. :-(

This issue is addressed in the Knowledge Base under Network Settings. It sounds like you have auto commit ticked on both of your computers.

"Auto-commit Reminders This setting will not be visible unless the current file has syncing enabled.
It is specific to the currently open data file, and helps to avoid possible duplicated transactions.

Duplicates can occur if an auto-committing transaction reminder is recorded on two different computers before the changes can be synced between them.

By default, this option is enabled on the computer that created the data file, and disabled on the other systems. We recommend enabling this option only on one computer - whichever is the most used and most often connected to the Internet."

OK, that seems like a silly solution to me, as I might switch my primary computer at some point. However, I've done as you've suggested and disabled auto-commit on one of them that I currently use a bit less.
