OK! Now I've set up my accounts (No more QUICKEN! YES!)
I have checking and a savings account with Chase. They set me up with the same online account (user id and password) for both bank accounts. I set up online banking on both accounts in Moneydance, and what happens is that both accounts download the checking account transactions. I DID set up the correct bank account and routing numbers for each but that seems not to have any effect.
Any suggestions please?
Tony

Hi Tony
I believe this is a know problem which has been fixed with the latest preview release. If you install the automatic Moneydance updater extension you can set it to install the latest preview version.
Click Extensions->Add... Click "Next" Select "Moneydance Updater" Click "Next" Click "Finish"
Sincerely
Ben Spencer

Well, I did that, and it does TRY to ask which account I want, but it doesn't populate my savings account in the dropdown.
Likewise, with my Discover card, the dropdowns are in fact empty, where previously it had one dropdown that contained my account number. In any case, I can't get past that screen.
It going to be harder to get way from stinking Quicken without online banking working properly. :O}

Tony,
Are you using MD version 637 now? You should disconnect/remove and then reset your accounts from scratch. Please let me know if you still have an issue after confirming that you're using 637 and removing re-adding your accounts.
Sincerely,
Brian

Thanks!

The best part of all this is I am running dual boot (XP and Ubuntu/Linux), and I am sharing the data files as saved on XP and it works like a charm. :O) Nice job, folks!

Tony,
So everything is working now? You should probably go ahead and install version 637.
Brian

Well I installed Moneydance Updater and it only updates me to 635. How do I fix that? (Running in Ubuntu/linux)

I just found this post (It seems it still hasn't been updated since 4/28):
"I have release 635 on my windows computer and the about screen reports Java Version: 1.6.0_13. The updater extension is set to check for preview releases on startup, but it does not find release 637, which is shown on the preview page of your website as being available since the 22nd, six days ago. Manually invoking the update search does not find it either.

Additional information: I am using build 12 of the updater extension.

Hi David
I contacted the developer and they told me that they had neglected to add release 637 to the update notification system. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The system should be updated shortly.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer"

I'll check in with the developer tomorrow morning and remind them to update the notification system. I'm sorry this fell through the cracks.
Sincerely
Ben

What's the latest on this please?

I reminded the developer of the omission in the updater notification system for 637. I'm sorry he hasn't had the time to work on this. Here is the link to manually download and install the 637 update.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer
