Dennis,
I have encountered this same issue. I click on the MD icon in the dock. It bounces once. Nothing happens. I have to Force Quit the (Not Responding) application. I go to Applications in a Finder window and click on the icon for MD. It loads just fine. The next time I use the icon on the Dock, everything works as it should. I don't have an explanation. I do know that I will encounter this problem when I am in a hurry and have only a minute to get what I need from MD :-)

I found away around this. I created a folder called it "Moneydance" placed the moneydance launch icon in the folder. Dock it with the other folders ie applications, documents. Click on folder and when it expands click on moneydance icon to launch. Seems to work. Not perfect. I don't know why it will not launch from main Dock. I had the same problem. Waiting to here from the moneydance folks.

Dennis,
I am very sorry you haven't gotten a reply from us before now. It seems likely that the dock icon is still associated with Moneydance 2008. To fix this issue, delete the dock icon for Moneydance. Then by going to the applications menu or the folder you know that MD 2010 is in and open Moneydance 2010 (so that the correct icon shows up in the dock) and Ctrl+click to add the icon to the dock.
Please let me know if your issue persists and we will look into other solutions.
Sincerely,
Brian

I've only just stated using Moneydance and I can load it from the dock if I'm careful. If you accidentally double click it doesn't load and stops responding and you have to "force quit".
I haven't notice this with other applications but the double click is a difficult habit to break as a recent (very happy) convert from Windows

Thanks for the tip on the double click. I will attempt to be more careful going forward.
