I just noticed that there is an account called "Restored 3b4b4407-4fa2-4453-b48f-a206e81724cb from txn 20231121 CIBC -59466" in my sidebar. I tried to delete it (Account->Delete Account..., typed Yes) but it's still displayed in my sidebar. I even tried right-clicking and choosing "Remove from sidebar" but it's still there.

    Nothing obvious in log.
Select the account. What transactions are in it? Reassign those to the right account/cats and then when it’s empty try deleting it again.

Are you syncing between two computers? I've seen "restored" accounts appear when the sync gets out of whack.

But yes, follow Stuart's advice to move toward resolution. The point is that restored account probably has a mismatched transaction (especially if you sync).

I am syncing between two computers, but I didn't sync on the day in
question, so is it possible that is the reason?

In any case, the deleted account just disappeared sometime yesterday. I'm
not exactly sure when, but it's gone now.
