Sorting display
I often want to compare payments to a particular payee (i.e. Description column) over time. When I click on a column heading I expect the resulting display of the register to still show the currently selected transaction. Instead the display goes to some random spot and I have to scroll up or down to find where I was. I thought this feature had been added/fixed which is why I recently updated but it is still not working that way. I did just figure out that I can hit the down or up arrow to get back close to the selected transaction but it would be nice if the display just went there without any input from me.

I'm a fellow user.
I'm not aware of anything being done to change this behaviour
Recent Moneydance development has been around making internal changes in the language Moneydance is written in, in order to set up the software for future development, rather than operational differences in the software.

Thanks for the response, dwg.
A similar issue occurs when you switch from viewing only Unconfirmed or Uncleared transactions back to All Transactions, for example -- it puts you way at the top of your register instead of leaving you on the currently selected transaction.

It would make sense to see the same behaviour here as well, with Moneydance not noting what transaction was selected and returning to this transaction.
