Chase Checking: "downloaded zero new transactions"

Downloading transactions from Chase Checking and Chase Card Services to MD worked for me for 2 years until Nov. 10, 2009. I upgraded to MD 2010 in January and re-created my online banking accounts in MD. Chase Card Services downloads transactions to MD but Chase Checking does not download transactions to MD. I have just the 1 login name and password for all my Chase Accounts. I use iMac with OS 10.6.3.

The connection information for you bank as not changed between the MD2008 and MD2010 versions. I suspect this is a problem with your bank rather than a problem with Moneydance. If you are getting as far as seeing the message "downloaded zero new transactions" then Moneydance is completing the connection to your bank, Moneydance is asking for all new transactions and your bank is responding that there are no new transactions to download.

You could try installing the MD2008 version for the software again and verify if this is indeed a problem with the bank. Here is a link to instructions for reverting to MD2008:

I am sorry for the trouble this is causing you.

I actually DON'T believe this is a problem with his bank. From seeing this same problem in numerous threads in this forum, I think it's a MD issue. See my thread here:

    Thank you.

Acutally, I am not even able to log into my Chase account using Moneydance 2010. It gives me an error.

I apologize for the long delay in our response. Moneydance did have an issue connecting with Chase in late March, but I believe it has been resolved and users are connecting successfully with Chase Bank (but not Chase Investments) again. Please let me know if you are continuing to have issues with this connection and we will look into other issues.

If you are not using the most recent version (2010r2 build 748), please update to that version. You can download the update here. This update has resolved a few key issues our users have been experiencing, including anumer of OFX issues . Please let me know if your issue persists and we will look into other solutions.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.

Hello Angie, I did not read your message carefully and updated to the "Preview
Version" of Moneydance using the Moneydance Extensions menu and I'm now
on 2010r3 (748). I still experience the same situation with my Chase
Online accounts. Transactions DO NOT download from my Checking Account,
however they DO download from my Chase MasterCard account just as they
did before. Connectivity and login is working, but not the final process
of downloading for the Checking account.

    - Should I use the URL to download 2010r2 build 748 and try that?

    - I use an iMac with OS X 10.6.3.

I have been a Moneydance user
for 2 1/3 years and purchased the upgrade last Fall. This is my first
issue and look forward to the resolution. Please let me know what I can
do to assist you remediating the issue. Thank you.

    Hi Angie,
Please let me know the best way for me to work with you to remediate this issue, this e-mail address or the Moneydance support forum. I am not able to download transactions from my Chase checking account and continue to receive the message "Downloaded zero new transactions." I have a Chase MasterCard and using the same login and password information I am able to download new transactions for my MasterCard. So, 1 Chase account works with Moneydance and 1 account does not work.

I use an iMac with OS X 10.6.4
    I have Moneydance 2010r3 (751)

Thank you for working with me to resolve this issue.

    Hi Nicholas,

Our support email is integrated with our forums, so feel free to use what ever method of contacting us works best for you.

Regarding your Chase checking account: was it working previously, or did you just recently set it up and it has never worked correctly? You could try resetting the sync on your account. This should allow you to re-download everything Chase offers for download.
