can't close moneydance
I have downloaded a trial version of moneydance and actually
have two questions: How do I import qfx files from my bank (I can
see them in the download window of firefox but can't figure out how
to get to them) and secondly, how do I turn off the program? It
won't let me command-q, and it won't let me do the 3 key thing-esc
command and whatever else it is....
When I try to restart, it says to go back and quit.
Sigh.
thanks for any help

Hi Snue
The location Moneydance had put the downloaded file is dependent on the version fo Filefox you operating system and your firefox preferences. Typically there is a folder in you computer called downloads in your user folder.
In the firefox downloads window you can right click on a downloaded item and select "Open containing folder" this will show you exactly where the downloaded files are. Once you know where the file is you can run Moneydance and select File->Import->OFX (OFX and QXF are essentually the same).
It might be the program won't quit because you have not saved you data file. You can set an option to save your file on every quit under File->Preferences->General
It might also be a bug that existed in an earlier version of java. Please update to the latest preview verison of Moneydance available from the link below and that resolves an issue that prevented the program from closing
http://moneydance.com/trac/wiki/Moneydance2010Beta.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer
