Quote loader error

MD Ver 2023.3 5064
Quote loader V3204 not loading prices see attached. Been using for more than two years never had this happen before. Hope someone can help.

   Hi Ray

   Yahoo has changed something.

   In the meantime change the Source to FT.

   Any Securities that return an error with FT as the source then post your base currency, the Ticker, full Security Name and last price you have and its traded currency or just post a screen shot of the Quote Loader windows after you click GET PRICES.

   Ray & Derek,

   I hope changing the source to FT is only a temporary one. FT HD doesn't seem to be working for the one that I tested. It returned an error, while FT worked for it.

   My issue is that I have several securities (37 tracked through Yahoo). The majority of them only trade on the TSX (Toronto Canada Stock Exchange), and Mike's instructions are to clear that field.

   Here's to hoping that the issue gets resolved soon.

   Hi DrgnMastr

   FT HD does not support historical data for Stocks, only Funds, nor does it support Historical data for Exchange Rates.

   So for Stocks and Exchange Rates use FT and run every day. I run the next morning before the market opens.

   Any Securities that return an error with FT as the source then post your base currency, the Ticker, full Security Name and last price you have and its traded currency or just post a screen shot of the Quote Loader windows after you click GET PRICES.

   Thank you for the detailed instructions. I bit the bullet and converted everything to FT last night, following the instructions. All but 6 of the 37 worked right away, and it wasn't too hard to fix five of the six.

   Only one issue remains, and I think it comes from FT and not quote loader. I have one security "TD Global Technology Leaders Index ETF", which trades on the TSX as TEC, in CAD. FT does not have it, but has "TEC.U:TOR" which is trading in USD. The price returned is close when converted from USD to CAD, but not exactly the same as reported by the TSX before markets opened, this morning. Yahoo was reporting it correctly.

   I think you are correct, it does not look like FT supports TD Global Technology Leaders Index ETF traded in CAD.
   At least your other securites are supported by FT

   Oddball 2024 window behavior.
   If I close MD 2024 (5117) on my primary window, restarting MD works as expected.
   If I close MD on my secondary window, when restarting, the window appears as a thin vertical strip on the left hand side of the second screen. The window can be subsequently stretched open. SO it's not a big deal. But any sub-windows opened on the second screen also open as a thin vertical strip.
   Odd behavior.

   FT does support a lot of Australian stocks.

   As I posted before.
