New update has issues with Norton 360.
Hi I have just tested updating my 2023.3 (5064) version of Moneydance with your latest release and Norton 360 pops up with a warning, similar to that at
And with the image attached
I have tried everything I can think of to resolve, without success, and now reluctantly restored 2023.3 (5064).
Appreciate any advice

Hi Brian,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
You should exclude the Moneydance download file as described here to prevent this from happening again the future.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Hi Maddy,
I have continued to experiment.
This time, as you can see from the attached, I have only excluded the
exe files!
Sadly again, with disastrous results.
The downloaded update successfully uninstalled my existing MoneyDance
installation, but was blocked from installing the update
Leaving me with no version of Moneydance; even a Microsoft restore
failed to restore the programme.
Fortunately, I have imaging software (Macrium Reflect) which restored
everything back to normal.
Think I will stick with 2023.3 (5064) version of Moneydance, unless you
have a work around

You could try temporarily disabling Norton, while completing the installation.
