entering dates in the Export Data dialog box

Today I wanted to export a selection of transactions to a spreadsheet. Not the whole file, just what I found with a search. The dialog box opened and the initial date range was 1969 to 2010. I have no idea why. When I tried to modify the beginning date, I was unable to type into the Start Date: box, but a calendar popped up. However, just about a quarter of the calendar was visible (only the portion that fit within the bounds of the box.) I was able to increment the date, one day at a time, with the + key.

This wasn't at all what I wanted, and there may be a different/better way to do this, but popping up the calendar in the dialog box is clearly not useful.

    Hi Barry

I see from the attached image that you have the "All dates" option selected. If you change this to "Custom dates" and you should be able to change the date to meet your needs.

    Sincerely
