Copying transaction category

Since MoneyDance reverts my catagores on split transactions. Is there any way to copy the category from one transaction to another? My wife's paycheck has 12 splits and mine has 5. I'd rather do my finances on paper than re-enter the same 17 splits every 2 weeks!
