Transfer Transaction Posting Date

I find that when I transfer funds from one account to another at a different bank, the receiving account is usually delays posting up to 3 business days. It would be helpful to have a way to reflect that in the registers accordingly so balances are accurately displayed.

Right now I either show the transfer early at the receiving account or late at the sending account. Can get confusing when planning payments.

   Hi Peter,

   I managed that by having an "intermediate" account called ACH. Then I create two transfers.

   • From account1 -> ACH (using date of send)
   • From ACH -> account2 (using date of received)

   So minus is that there is a bit of extra work: creating 2 xfers instead of 1.
   But this make it possible for both my accounts to reflect balance reality.
