How do I reset the "next transaction" marker for recurring transactions?
I've read the article about recurring reminders (https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/reminders-2/applying-reminders), but it doesn't answer my question.
Here's the scenario:
I have a bunch of monthly recurring transactions, most of them auto-committed. When registering some of the manual ones, I accidentally also registered some transactions that were already registered, thus adding the transactions scheduled for next month. The list of upcoming reminders now shows these as scheduled one month later (the month after next month), same as if I had skipped it.
Question: How do I reset the "marker" to make the transactions appear "unregistered" to make them appear in the list of upcoming reminders for next month?

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
Unfortunately, once you've 'skipped' a transaction in a Transaction Reminder, there is no way to bring it back. As a workaround, you can take the previous transaction, highlight it (right click) and use the duplicate function to record it in place of the skipped one.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Thanks for the prompt response!
I would then request an improvement to let me do this one way or
another, it is very easy to accidentally click and register the wrong
occurrence in the list. It doesn't necessarily have to be a specific
"reset" action to clear the internal flag (which I suspect exists), a
workaround like modifying the reminder in some way to make it restart at
next date that matches the pattern (eg by disabling and enabling the
reminder) would be as useful.

FYI - I’ve just added this feature to my list_future_reminders extension PREVIEW from:
https://yogi1967.github.io/MoneydancePythonScripts/
On the first occurrence of a reminder, right-click and select
‘Edit hidden last acknowledged date’
Let me know how this works for you?

@Stuart, thanks, will do (but it will probably not happen Immediately).

Would be great if you could test it, even if just to edit an acknowledge date manually and adjust by 1 day.

I've tested it and it seems to work as expected.
