Cosmetic change in Reconcile Window
Hi:
Getting used to the program and like it very much.
In the reconcile window, the outstanding checks show in a large
window, but the unreconciled deposits show in a window allowing
only one check at a time to be visible.
I realize this is a small point, but it would be more comfortable to see a longer list of outstanding checks. Could this window be enlarged?

Hello
This is not the case with the installation of Moneydance i am using. I attach a screenshot of the reconcile window I get.
Perhaps you have discovered a bug. What version of Moneydance are you using? What OS are you using? What version of Java are you using? (type "java -version" in a terminal ) Are you running in an unusually low screen resolution? Could you send a screen shot of your reconcile window?
Sincerely
Ben Spencer

Hi:
I'm using MD ver 2008r3(631)
Java version is 1.6.0_10-rc
Running on Win XP Pro
Screen resolution is 1280x1024
I'm not sure about how I could send a screen shot.

HI:
I just solved the problem. If I expand the reconciliation window vertically, the list of checks opens and is now similar to your screen shot.
I think this emphasizes the need for a detailed instruction manual.

Thanks for getting back to me Charles.
I am glad you resolved the problem.
I agree we need a more detailed instruction manual. It is something we are working on.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer
