Formatting constraints of Views, charts and tables - way too rigid and clumsy
* Portfolio View of Investment Accounts: Securities are listed on the left, details far over on right; need to shrink the white space when the window is reduced. Now, the details are invisible in a reduced window.
*Securities Detail View: column sizes are difficult to adjust, and changes revert back to default size even when inadequate.
When closing multiple windows, the last window will shut down the program without asking for confirmation. This initiates the lengthy backup process which is a real time waster if not intended. Also it should be possible to return to a previous view by one click to enable smooth workflow.
*In the Portfolio view shares are shown to 4 decimal places; this is only needed if one has a DRIP. It is adding clutter. In the same view, the far right column is titled "All %" This may make sense to someone but not to me.
* On the Transactions view (and some others) there is a lengthy process of editing required to change the target Account. This should be a one-click drop down menu. Again, a back-arrow would be handy to revert to previous view.
These are just a few of the frustration that I have while getting used to MoneyDance. Thank you for your attention.
