show date of last reconcile on home page; warning for duplicate check numbers?

I'm brand new to Mac as well as Moneydance and am greatly enjoying them both (even though the double switch has meant that I've been doing data entry pretty much one keystroke at a time in order not to bring the old problems onto my new computer).

I would love it if the home page would show (maybe in smaller font) next to each account the date when it was last reconciled. I won't always be doing this amount of data entry, but even in the old financial program I used (MS Money) I'd sometimes forget which accounts were up to date and reconciled and which ones weren't.

Also, there's not too much I miss from Money, but I did like the warning you got if you tried to re-use a check number that had already been used. The program didn't make it impossible (very rarely I've actually gotten duplicates from the check providers, when the last number in a pack was repeated in the next pack), but it was good to get the reminder for all those other times when I was about to make a mistake in entering the number.

Thanks for a nice clean product!

    Hello

I think both of these are great ideas. We have a bug tracking and suggestion management site here:

    moneydance.com/trac

I have created tickets for both of your suggestions. Here are the links:

    http://moneydance.com/trac/ticket/1929

    http://moneydance.com/trac/ticket/1930

If you register with trac and log in you can vote to to show support for particular features. The more votes a feature request gets the more likely it will be implemented.

    Sincerely

    Ben Spencer

I tried, but this is the message I got (and since I can't register, I
couldn't send this from that site).

The registration system on trac was broken and has now been fixed. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

    Sincerely
