Small separate app for bill reminders

I've been using Moneydance almost exclusively for the past 3 or so months now. I used to use Quicken (still have Quicken 2017 but forcing myself not to use it).

There's a few things here and there I do miss from Quicken but the biggest is the Billminder application. It's a very small simple application that basically reads the upcoming bill schedule (reminders) from the data file and lists the upcoming bills within X number of days and that's it. I used to put this on a scheduled task that would run a couple times a week so that even if I got wrapped up with daily life, this would force me to actually see what bills are coming due. I mean I guess I could do something similar with the entire app but this was nice, small, and simple. I would just put reoccurring events in a Google Calendar or something along those lines but then I'd obviously have to clear them once I've paid them. Also, since there really isn't any way to export the reminder info to a calendar I'd have to manually create those entries again.

Also along the lines of Bill Reminders, in Quicken you could enable a setting that would show upcoming bills that are due directly in the register they're associated with. For example my electric bill is coming due in 10 or so days and the reminder is configured to withdraw the funds from my Checking Account #1 account. While in in that Checking Account #1 account, at the very bottom of the register it shows that electric bill as being due soon but not recorded yet.

I'm just a pretty forgetful person (which is why I use personal finance software) so for me, those features were very handy.

I am not support staff, just a user.

I see the benefit of up and coming bill reminders being available external to the Moneydance APP.
There are a number of features in Moneydance I am wondering if you are taking advantage of.

On the summary page you can include two feature using FILE – PREFERENCES – SUMMARY PAGE

The first “Reminder calendar. So, on the summary page you can see the bill for the current month and click forward to see bills in the future months.

The second “Reminders” list income and bills in a dated list form and can be set to have a window of two weeks, one month or this month.

In reminders you can set bills or income to be entered into the appropriate account register in a set number of days in advance.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah I know about the reminder page and the summary page. Those are definitely handy. Just mentioning the things I kinda miss coming from Quicken which I haven't seen in Moneydance.
