Payees
It's sometimes necessary to list transactions to individual payees e.g. all payments made to Tesco this year. Because payees are freeform ( M & S, Marks and Spencer, Marks & Spencer etc.) , it's not possible to get an accurate report (if one existed). Would it be possible to hold a file of payees which are selectable from the Description field?
(I know you must be sick of hearing about Quicken, but this was a useful feature)

Address Book
See more..Moneydance's address book allows you to include information such as street addresses, phone numbers and email contacts for people and businesses.
Create Address Book Entry -
To add, delete, or edit addresses navigate to Tools > Address Book.
Select 'Add' to create a new Address Book entry.
You can input a name, address, email address and phone number.
Assign Address Book Entry to Transactions -

I would like this feature too.
Double click on a PAYEE NAME name in a register (say check register) then a report is generated showing date, reference, Description/for, and $amount (Splits) for all the transactions, for the period you would select in a pop-up window for a PERIOD: Month, Quarter, Year, Years, ALL, etc.).

Hi Ken
You could try the Transaction Detail report. Click Edit and enter Tesco into the Description field. Set other fields as required. When you have the settings, you need use the Memorize button to store this report with these setting under a user defined name. You can use the new report again and again and make changes as required.

There is no list of payees held within Moneydance. the software autocompletes payees based on previous entries.
