Consider editing software reconcile function to automatically enter a correction when bank statement and check register do not match. For instance: say the register and statement do not match by a sum of $0.95. If the reconcile feature would enter a balance adjustment automatically it would save time trying to find the error. Also it would be helpful if the reconcile feature would allow entry for interest that may have been accrued and place it in the correct interest category just like Quicken. By the way I have used Quicken for many years but have dropped it because of the new annual fee policy.

My discussion was not to learn how to reconcile - It was just a suggestion for improving the software.

As a user, I setup monthly REMINDERs (Interest Income) for auto-entry for "LAST DAY" of each month, for Inteterst-bearing accounts (to be entered in register a few days before end of month). Then I can edit the amount to the actual interest earned.

ALSO, for ALL these NOTE-TYPE reminders I place "????" in the "Reference" column for the transaction.

When I know actual Interest earned, I then I edit it to the actual $Amount and change the ??? in Reference Column to "Int". To me then, that makes the change from a memo-reminder to an actual transaction my purposes.

    Hope this suggestion helps you.
