Custom Portfolio View
If MD is going to capture and retain the casualties of MS Money, then MD 2010 is going to HAVE TO HAVE a robust and customizable Investment Portfolio.
Kevin I would appreciate it if you would make a more specific set of suggestions in another >thread. Sincerely Ben Spencer
Thanks Ben,
I suggest that MD 2010 should have a customizable, one page portfolio that gives a compelte view of any or all of the users invetment accounts.
User customizations should include the ability to add or remove investment accounts. The ability to add or remove columns. The ability to change the position of columns and sort the order in each column.
Column choices: Security name, Symbol, Quantity, Last Price, Today’s change in Price in ($) and (%), Today’s Change in Value in ($) and (%), Cost Basis, Income, Price Appreciation, Commision Fee, Gain, Market Value, Total Return YTD, Annualize Return, Overall Return.
Users should be able to set the number of decimal places in columns with numerals.
Obviously some of these columns already exist in the currnent version.
Other posters, please add to the list.
I'm looking forward to the new build.
