I have just had another payment snafu which was probably caused by the long-standing MD Bill Pay payee selection window problem of not being able to tell which payee line should be selected when you have multiple accounts with the same payee. What is needed is the selection window show a user entered (in payee setup) field instead of part of the payee account number.

For a long time, I have taken (as many other users probably have also) to adding a short identifying code to the account number of my multi-account payees as a work-around. Wells Fargo bank, however, now seems to be having some trouble with this.

This has been a headache for me since I started with MD in 2008 and I have (along with other users) requested this fix/feature multiple times over the years. Quicken had a "nickname" field in their bill pay payee setup window which solved the problem. Please, move this up to the top of the "fix" list now.
