Credit/Debit Value Distinction for Transactions in Investment Accounts
I am new to Moneydance, so everybody play nice, please. While migrating my accounts from Quicken, I experienced some considerable confusion because there is only one field in investment accounts for a money amount (Amount Field), and in some cases the import from Quicken messed it up because I was not bringing some old linked accounts. I think it would serve the product well if some better distinction could be made visually whether the amount is a credit or debit. That would eliminate the need to examine the transaction type to determine which it is. This could be done with classic negative amount signs like (), -, or even better with color, with red being a debit.
