printing check type by account

yes, i can select the type of check to print in the preferences, but it is app-wide: all accts, all files use the same prefs.

quicken allows prefs by acct, so my personal chking acct uses 3-up stub checks, my business acct uses 1-up standard, so i don't waste checks printing to the wrong format.

moneydance needs per-acct prefs to remain competitive with quicken.

    Tewible,

    I can definitely see how this could be a problem for our users, and I have created a ticket for this issue. The ticket is attached to this discussion.     Not being able to view ticket #2937, I can only assume this ticket is applicable to my interest.

    I have 2 checking accounts. Both use single wallet checks but the check layout is different for each account. I want to be able to design a layout for each account and save it.

    When it is time to print a check for a specific account I can then recall the appropriate layout. I need to print in landscape mode, ie: the right side of the check enters the manual feed tray.

    i can't view ticket #2937, either, jon...it's 404...does that mean it's dead, angie? sure hope not...

    Our ticketing system is private, so only the developers and the support staff can see the details, so clicking on the link will show an error. The only data that's available from your perspectives is the general status of the ticket.
