Moneydance Mobile App
Hello,
The mobile app always seems like it defaults to yesterday and not today when it comes to adding new transactions. Some time it has the correct date. But frequently I need to go back edit the dates because I always assume that it’s today’s date. Even though I know better, I keep forgetting that this app doesn’t default to today and instinctively hit Save without checking the date.
Is there a reason why it doesn’t? All of my apps that uses dates always defaults to today.
Also can you add a calendar view as a date picker instead using a drop down menu. For example replace yellow circle instead of the red circle part. That calendar view example is from Google Calendar app.
Thanks

The Mobile Apps work perfectly for me & not as you describe. Mine always show Todays date.
You don't mention what you've tried so far, so.
Check you are running the current version 2.20. Have you tried dismissing the App & starting it up again? Or do a reboot of your phone.
I’m using x2 iPads, iPhone 6s & Samsung Galaxy, they all perform without the issue you describe.

Hello,
I'm also not able to recreate this. I'm curious if you've noticed a pattern at all for when the date appears to be correct, and when it appears to be yesterday? Your initial message says that it always happens, but then says only sometimes. For example, does it happen when you completely quit and reopen the app? Or does it only seem to happen when it's been open in the background for some time? Or any other pattern?

I'm using iOS 12.1.2 and have desktop app on both MacBook Pro & Ubuntu. I'm using all the latest versions: v2.20 on the mobile app & v2017.10 (1706) on the desktop.
But you can see from by desktop screenshot, those red circles represent when I corrected the date after I added the transaction. I always get those double date entry on my desktop when I change the date after I added the transaction. Most of the time I tend to check for the correct date before I hit the save button. But I have yet to see a pattern to this annoyance. I've check for to see if there was no entry from the previous day or every nth day or every nth entry of the day, etc. So far I'm not seeing it.
However, it would be a great help to me, if there was a calendar view instead of the dropdown date selector. I would probably catch all the instances where the date was wrong. It's easier for me to notice that the day was Saturday, when it should be Sunday than it is to see if it's 23 not 22.
