It has been my experience that Memorized reports ARE listed alphabetically on the left side bar.

Report nomenclature adheres to ASCII rules. http://www.asciitable.com/

So numerals come before upper-case letters and upper-case letters come before lower-case letters. For the order of symbols, you'd need to look at the ASCII table.

If on the other hand you are referring to the order of Memorized reports displayed within the Tools > Graphs and Reports > Memorized Reports menu item. Then there appears to be less of an adherence to ASCII rules. (and I'm not sure why)

You're right! I had never used the sidebar for accessing the reports, and I do see that they are sorted exactly as I would like when viewed there.

I always used the menus (Tools > Graphs and Reports > Memorized Reports) where they appear in a fixed order but not one that I can understand. Certainly not ACSII rules as you mentioned.

I'll experiment with using the sidebar, as that does seem a nice way to do it, but you're correct, the request is for the ordering in the menu item window to also be alphabetical. Seems like it should be possible to have the same order in both locations.

Thanks again!

JRtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/469654802019-02-15T22:05:45Z2019-02-16T15:54:07ZSort Memorized Reports alphabetically by name.

Hi JR,

You're welcome. I''m glad to hear that the sort order in the left side bar is more like what you were looking for.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet that the order of Memorized reports in the menu item window is likely to receive little attention from the developer. (not that it's not a legitimate issue) it's just that I haven't seen a lot of call for it to be fixed. I think that most users rely on the left side bar for quick access to reports.
